IBSL and Signature

We are sad to see that IBSL is no longer able to run as an awarding body. We are supporting our current students to complete their Diplomas until the end of March 2023, and our other students both with us and at Remark! are moving across to Signature.

We wish all at IBSL, particularly the Board of Trustees all the best for a successful future and we have always supported working with Deaf led organisations. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to deliver training to so many interpreter students.

Now onto the next chapter with Signature. We are having a well earned break until after Easter, when we will advertise our new programmes starting summer 2023. Watch this space for the Information and Selection day information and date.

To all our learners, thank you for embracing the changes and we've already had two successful weekends delivering the Signature award. Thank you too to all our learners who have been working day and night to complete their IBSL awards by the end of next week!
We think you are all amazing!

So proud of this class who kept going through the pandemic. Well done to you all. It was so lovely to celebrate with your families and friends. So very well deserved.

Remark! 3 Year students July 2021
CONGRATULATIONS to the 13 students on our Remark! programme who  passed their IBSL Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting Studies.
It was so lovely to see you at your Graduation Ceremony in London on 10th December 2021

Congratulations to two cohorts of students. One group passed just before lockdown, so their graduation ceremony was put on hold, and the other class who started their course face to face which quickly had to move online due to the restrictions. Well done to you all. A massive thank you to Involve for hosting the event. Everything was live streamed so families were still able to attend (given social distancing and shielding restrictions) and our student who had returned to New Zealand also had her ceremony. A fabulous event. Thank you to our Remark! 3 Year students for interpreting the event for their Team Working assessment. Well done all.
